Water Amendment (Restoring Our Rivers) Bill 2023 - Second Reading - Oppose the bill
Not passed by a small majority
No rebellions 85% attendance
Division last edited 13th Dec 2023 by mackay staff
The majority voted against the following amendments: amendment (2) and (4) on sheet 2145; (1), (7)-(12), (15)-(19), (21) and (23) on sheet 2146; and the amendments on sheet 2147. This means they failed. The amendment were on water buybacks, additional held environmental water (HEW) entitlements and socio-economic outcomes.
Note that Tasmanian Senator Jacqui Lambie (JLN) asked that is be "noted that the Jacqui Lambie Network opposed the amendments on sheet 2145."
Note that Victorian Senator David Van (Independent) is currently showing up as a rebel voter from the Liberal Party in this division (as of 13/12/2023). This is inaccurate, as Senator Van is no longer in the Liberal Party.
There was 1 rebellion in this division.
