  • The majority voted in favour of a [motion](https://www.openaustralia.org.au/senate/?id=2019-10-16.156.2) to congratulate the New South Wales Parliament for passing a bill to decriminalise abortion. It was introduced by NSW Senator [Mehreen Faruqi](https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/people/senate/nsw/mehreen_faruqi) (Greens).
