Division last edited 22nd Aug 2019 by mackay staff
The majority voted in favour of a motion to pass the bill. In parliamentary jargon, they voted in favour of the question:
that the Future Drought Fund Bill 2019, as amended, and the Future Drought Fund (Consequential Amendments) Bill 2019 be read a third time.
The bill was introduced in order to use:
uncommitted funds from the Building Australia Fund to establish the Future Drought Fund (comprised of the Future Drought Fund Special Account and the investments of the Future Drought Fund) as a dedicated investment vehicle to provide a secure revenue stream to be used for drought resilience, preparedness and response. Also establishes the Future Drought Fund Consultative Committee.
Nobody rebelled against their party.
