28th Oct 2021, 2:42 PM – Representatives Motions - Prime Minister - Don't let a vote happen
Summary
EditThe majority voted in favour of disagreeing with a motion to suspend the usual procedural rules - known as standing orders - in order to let another vote happen. This means the other vote will not take place.
Motion text
That so much of the standing orders be suspended as would prevent the Leader of the Opposition from moving the following motion immediately—
That this House condemns the Prime Minister for misleading the Parliament and the Australian people by not telling them that the modelling document for his net zero policy does not exist.
Votes Passed by a small majority
