Mr Albanese proposed:
*That this House condemns the Prime Minister for misleading the Parliament and the Australian people by not telling them that the modelling document for his net zero policy does not exist.*
- The majority voted in favour of a [motion](https://www.openaustralia.org.au/debate/?id=2021-10-28.95.4) to stop Grayndler MP [Anthony Albanese](https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/people/representatives/grayndler/anthony_albanese) (Labor) from speaking any further in this debate. In parliamentary jargon, they voted "*That the Member be no longer heard.*" These motions are known as gagging motions.

<p>I seek leave to move the following motion:</p>
<p class="italic">That this House condemns the Prime Minister for misleading the Parliament and the Australian people by not telling them that the modelling document for his net zero policy does not exist.</p>

<p>Leave is not granted for such a stupid motion.</p>

<p class="italic">That so much of the standing orders be suspended as would prevent the Leader of the Opposition from moving the following motion immediately—</p>

<p>If they had the courage of their convictions, they'd have a debate on climate change, and they could have it right now. Our policy—</p>
