Main idea of the bill
The bill amends the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918 in relation to political donations. Like a previous bill that attempted to make changes to these rules, the bill proposes to reduce the donations disclosure threshold from $10,900 to $1 000 and ban foreign donations to registered political parties.
